Aldermore Provides £ 200,000 Invoice Finance Facility to Skipper Recruit
Aldermore Bank has provided a £ 200,000 invoice finance facility to Skipper Recruit, the heavy truck (HGV) recruiting specialist.
Created in June 2020 after the first national confinement, the company specializes in the supply of heavy goods vehicle drivers and logistics personnel both to the general and specialized transport sectors.
Based in Norwich, Skipper Recruit provides staff for clients based in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and the Midlands. The agency now has between 30 and 50 drivers every day with clients which include small local businesses, national retail chains and some of the UK’s largest distribution companies.
Danny Skipper, Founder and CEO of Skipper Recruit, said: “The funding we have put in place has been invaluable. This allowed us to run smoothly and run the business with more confidence. Our facility also grew as we achieved our goals, which also helped us grow. The Aldermore team have been incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process.
