Australian Invoice Finance appoints two new BDMs
Treasury financier Australian Invoice Finance has added two new business development managers to its sales team to drive growth in two of its core markets.
Australian Invoice Finance (AIF) has announced the appointment of Aris Lockhart as Business Development Manager (BDM) for NSW, and Michael Coates as BDM for Victoria.
Based in Sydney, Mr Lockhart was previously BDM for Waddle Financier. Previously, he was with commercial lender Scottish Pacific as a customer relations manager.
During this time, Mr. Coates has worked with small and large companies in the financial, legal and accounting sectors, in addition to running his own Telstra business dealerships.
Commenting on the appointments, AIF Chief Executive Greg Charlwood said the new BDMs will play “a pivotal role in [the lender’s] growth plans for the NSW and Victorian markets”.
“Aris has extensive experience in small business cash flow financing in the New South Wales market, and Michael’s 15 years as a successful small business owner has given him a first-hand understanding of the challenges facing are facing SMEs,” said Mr. Charlwood.
Since its launch in August 2017, AIF claimed to have achieved loan portfolio growth of 120%.
