Blood, Inbred cannibals, a pack of Marlboro reds, and a nice toke from time to time is all I need to be happy.

Horror has always surrounded my life. Having a father, who is and always has been an avid film goer and has built up quite a collection of obscure or not so obscure horror movies in his fifty five years on this decaying earth, helped to nurture and build stronger my love for horror.

After seeing Evil Dead and Halloween at the age of twelve, I was hooked.

Then came The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I was in love. Not with the inbred cannibals and their primal cannibalistic ways, but with the film making. The art of it. The fact that Tobe Hooper could show basically no blood and still create one of the creepiest horror movies of all time.

I have written countless stories and articles in the seventeen years I have been alive, most of which are from the horror genre.

I am in a hardcore band, constructed out of The Palm beach county area in Florida, called Victory on Fire.

THE MUSIC I GREW UP WITH, AND LOVE:

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Black Flag, Marilyn Manson, Frank Zappa, Cream, G.G. Allin, Bad Brains, Leftover Crack, Winds of plague, Throwdown, Dr. Acula, The Murderdolls, Bring me the horizon, The Devil wears Prada, Black Sabbath, Electric Wizard, A Day to Remember, Etc. and so forth.

AUTHORS WHO HAVE GREATLY INFLUENCED ME:

Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Wolfe, Charles Bukowski, Clive Barker, Hubert Selby, J.T. Leroy (Whether he/she was a hoax or not,) H.P. Lovecraft, and others.

HORROR MOVIES I WAS INFLUENCED BY:

Evil Dead, Cannibal Holocaust, I spit on your grave, The Stepfather, The last house on the left, House of 1000 corpses/The Devil's Rejects, Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hostel, The ugly, Saw, Feed, Cabin Fever, Etc.

I am going to end this little summary about myself with a quote.

"You have one choice, boy: sex or the saw. Sex is, well, nobody knows. But the saw, the saw is family." -Drayton Sawyer, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986.)
