Derbyshire aerosol firm gets £5.5m bill funding boost

Swadlincote’s aerosol business Reabrook is eyeing global expansion after securing a £5.5m bill finance facility from HSBC.

HSBC’s financial support will allow Reabrook to focus on growing its Arrow Solutions brand in China. Arrow Solutions provides degreasing products to manufacturers and the rail, transportation, and oil and gas industries. This expansion follows the establishment of a new company, Arrow Shanghai Trading Company Limited in 2016, backed by HSBC China.

Reabrook is also expanding its operations in the Middle East after recently signing a joint venture to open a manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. Reabrook’s growth in China and the Middle East is expected to increase revenue by 30% over the next five years.

Reabrook will also use the additional working capital to add other products to its Nielsen brand. Nielsen specializes in cleaning and infection control products for the automotive industry. The brand is experiencing continued growth in the UK and increasing demand for its products overseas.

Tony Brealey, Managing Director of Reabrook, said: “This support from HSBC will not only help us expand our offering in China and the Middle East, but also provide an integrated banking approach with HSBC’s international offices. This increased facility also allows us to further develop our private label business by working with major retailers and brand owners. »

Roger Pratt, Regional Head of Corporate Banking at HSBC, said: “HSBC continues to connect UK businesses to international opportunities and we are delighted to support Reabrook in their global endeavours. We are committed to helping businesses large and small achieve their ambitions and look forward to seeing Reabrook carry the flag for British manufacturers overseas.
